Dances with Fashion

Yes, that's the cheesy name of my newest photoshoot with JP. I guess it really was more like 2 shoots. One at the south end of Hamlin Park as the sun was going down and one at the north end in the cold, dark forest. Yet again, Jackie was amazing and we came up with some really creative stuff. Mike was an awesome assistant popping the strobe for me hundreds of times. The one(s) with motion blur are at twilight with a strobe popped two or three times depending on the look we were going for. I got a new sync cord today, so hopefully I won't have to manually pop the location strobe anymore.

Hardest Shoot Ever!

I did this shoot with Jacki and Jordan on Friday at Discovery Park. It was sooo windy and cold that we couldn't feel our extremities. Poor Jacki in those small clothes! Once it got dark and I had to bust out the lights, I found that the flash wasn't syncing right so I had to manually pop the strobes while balancing the camera because I forgot a tripod. Then it got so dark I couldn't see to focus. I still think they came out pretty damn good!

Kathleen Smith

I shot Kathleen on Thursday at Lincoln Park over in West Seattle. We tried to catch some sun but it went down almost imediatley after we started shooting. We cut the shoot a little short because I felt so bad for her! She could hardly stand still she was shivering so intensely!!! I like what we got though.... Enjoy -Jen

The gorgeous Ms. Nikki

I finally got to shoot my ridiculously gorgeous friend Nikki. She looks smokin' hot! We had a lot of fun on this shoot. I didn't line up a hair stylist in time, so I had to do the hair. The amazing Kaylin Rodriquez did the make-up. I'm lucky to have such talented friends/collaborators.

I shot Emily Page on Thursday 10-29-09. It was great to work with a model that was really outgoing and talkative. She looks great in blue!

Shaina's Pregnancy

I shot these pictures of Shaina and Marcus last week partially for a school project, but mostly for them to have pregnancy documentation. In 3 months when the baby pops out, we are going to do some images with the baby... hopefully Seamus cooperates!

This shoot with Jackie was fun. It was a shitty morning, but turned out to be a beautiful warm day at a field in Bothell, WA. We were going for a vintage look and things just kind of unfolded. A suitcase got thrown in there and it just clicked.
